Boo at the Zoo
Looking for a little spooky fun without terrifying the kiddos? Boo at the Zoo at Austin Zoo has you covered! Wear your costume and ride the haunted train, tour the haunted mansion, and enjoy family-friendly frights. With all the spooky fun (that’s still safe for the little ones), it’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween. This event sells out quickly, so grab your tickets early!
Dates: Fridays & Saturdays in October

Texas Pumpkin Fest
Leander’s Texas Pumpkin Fest is a can't-miss event! With a pumpkin patch, hay rides, magic shows, a pirate ship ride, a mechanical bull, pie-eating contests, live performances, and so much more, this festival is packed with fun and perfect for fall photo ops.
Dates: Open Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Halloween (also open October 14th until 6 PM)
Time: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Cost: $15 per ticket (children 2 and under free)

Sweet Eats Adventure Farm
For a little farm adventure, head over to Sweet Eats Adventure Farm in Georgetown. Don’t miss the Flashlight Corn Maze at night—just be sure to bring a flashlight! During the day, enjoy plenty of fun activities like a petting zoo, wagon rides, pony rides, apple cannons, and more. It’s the perfect spot for families looking to embrace the fall spirit.

Time: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Flashlight Maze until 10:00 PM on Fridays & Saturdays

Round Rock Pumpkin Festival
Join the fun at Old Settlers Park for the Round Rock Pumpkin Festival! This event has everything from pumpkin painting and face painting to slime stations, a bounce house, a corn pit, live music, and delicious fall treats. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy some festive activities and spend quality time with the family.
Dates: Open Daily Through October 27th (Closed on Tuesdays)

Uhland Fall Fest
If you’re up for a full day of fall fun, head to the Uhland Fall Fest, just 25 miles south of Austin. This festival offers over 50 fall games and attractions, including pony rides, a petting zoo, live music, a ‘Lil’ Monster Maze, pumpkin carving, and more! Previously known as the Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival, this year’s event takes place at a new location—a beautiful, oak-filled, historic 15-acre farm.
Dates: October 21st-22nd

Cost: $20 per person; free for kids 3 and under and seniors 65+
